We are lucky to have some great friends and neighbours. Thank you to all our partners for helping the community come out and play at Cardel Place.
Cardel Homes
President of Cardel Homes, Ryan Ockey, views the Cardel Place partnership as a unique and special opportunity. “We’ve got a 30-year history of building homes in Calgary,” Ockey says, “Our appreciation for the communities here is immense. With the naming of Cardel Place, we hope to be able to celebrate, and perhaps contribute to, the quality of Calgary life.”
City of Calgary
Developed by The City of Calgary, the regional recreation centre model meets the recreation needs of the city's rapidly growing suburban communities. In this partnership, the City provided the land and $28.75 million in capital resources to build the facility while Nose Creek Sports and Recreation Association assumes full responsibility for opening expenses, facility equipment, program development, and future sustainability.
Calgary Public Library
Funded by the Calgary Public Library (CPL), the Country Hills Library is an integral component of Cardel Place. Together with the Nose Creek Sports and Recreation Association (NCSRA), the library is able to provide cost-effective, self-sustaining recreation, leisure, wellness, and library facilities for residents of the north central region of Calgary.
Community
Cardel Place is proud to have a home in your community. Collaboration with the founding community associations has allowed Cardel Place to focus on what matters – providing a gathering place for all ages to meet, grow, learn, connect and play. We couldn’t have done it without you and look forward to a future of working together for our communities.
Cardel Place tenants assist in providing a seamless, meaningful experience at our facility, enhancing the community’s overall well-being.
