STARS Volleyball coming to Cardel Place

Cardel Place is pleased to host STARS Volleyball this fall. STARS Volleyball provides a fundamental skills development program for children Grade One to Grade Seven. Recommended by Volleyball Canada and the Alberta Volleyball Association, STARS Volleyball is the premiere volleyball skills development program for children ages 6-12 with an emphasis on fun, fair play, and fundamentals. The fall program begins Thursday, September 23rd in the Cardel Place Blue Gym.

Amateur Sport Training Opportunity

Partnering to build healthy, active communities.

Cardel Place is seeking a program partner to provide amateur sport training and development opportunities to amateur athletes residing in North Central Calgary.

Cardel Place can provide training space/facilities, equipment, registration services (if required), promotion and marketing assistance as well as access to a large market. Currently 103,000 people, primarily young families, live in the catchment area with over 175,000 expected when the area is fully built out. Planning for our future is currently underway. Our goal is to expand the facility by 2014 to meet the rapidly growing needs of the community.

Opportunities for developing an extensive amateur sport training and development program are limitless. We are interested in partnering with an established, credible organization with a proven track record to provide coaching expertise to deliver sport specific skill development, cross training, agility/flexibility, strength, power, nutrition and sports psychology services on a revenue sharing basis.

Cardel Place is getting a new look! More space to connect friends and neighbours and reconnect with yourself!

July 12 Update

It's time to start construction! Guest Services has temporarily relocated to the arena entrance and the footsteps are in place to help you find your way while we revitalize some of Cardel Place's key spaces. Parking is available on the East side of the facility for your convenience. We're excited about updating our space so that you can continue to make Cardel Place your place to meet neighbours, catch up with friends, and cool off during the summer months. Be sure to let us know if you have any questions!

Why More Renos?

It’s simple. We want your positive experience to start as soon as you walk in the door. So, we’re turning our under-utilized areas into more functional space – space for you to focus on your physical, emotional, intellectual, social and spiritual health and have fun doing it!

Phase 1: July 2nd – August

Refreshed multipurpose community meeting space at the main entrance and activity level
Preschool program space redesigned just for kids, making it brighter and more fun to learn (and a cool space for your birthday party!)

Phase 2: July 12th – August

Enhanced main entrance information desk, making it your first place to connect
Guest Services moves front and centre to meet your needs – with improved access control
Additional locker capacity in the family changeroom
New arena desk designed for customer service – complete with new electronic schedule boards

Note: Guest services will be temporarily relocating to the arena entrance starting July 12. As always, our smiling team is here to assist you, making your time at Cardel Place memorable and fun-filled. Please let us know if you have any questions or concerns during construction.

Simons Valley Hockey 2010-2011 Registration
