In September 2003, the Nose Creek Sports and Recreation Association entered a partnership agreement with Cardel Homes, resulting in a new name for the multi-purpose recreation facility Cardel Place for community, sports, & recreation. This was a critical step that secured the funds necessary for equipping, sustaining, and operating the facility.

Ryan Ockey, Cardel Homes president, views the Cardel Place partnership as a unique and special opportunity. “We’ve got a 30-year history of building homes in Calgary,” Ockey says, “and our appreciation for the communities here is immense. With the naming of Cardel Place, we hope to be able to celebrate, and perhaps contribute to, the quality of Calgary life.”

Cardel Place for community, sports & recreation will play a significant role in establishing a sense of community belonging and spirit.
