What is the purpose of the ramp leading to the activity level?
The ramp was designed as a unique architectural feature and an alternative to a traditional stairwell which tends to get congested with traffic flow. The multi-purpose ramp provides wheelchair access, creates a social space where people can meet and greet each other, is a storage space, encourages walking and activity, and, accommodates older adult fitness classes where walking up a grade is preferred.
